Prayer Request For Tenali, India

Zion Child Care Trust International
Based on strong Christian principles we enhance the life, education, and health of deprived children.
“Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor,
will also cry out and not be answered”
Proverbs 21:13
Being here in Tenali is an ongoing very humbling experience.
Seeing the need and the desolation of the people here, you
cannot do anything else than realize how blessed we are
and how much we consider as natural in the West.
And we really stand at awe, when we see how much of an impact
we are already starting to make in this huge slum, by placing
clean water pumps, feeding the so many children, and offering
young girls and single mothers the opportunity for a future by
learning to sew and having their own sewing machine, so they can
make a living.

“Except the Lord builds the house,
they labor in vain who build it”
Psalm 127:1a Amplified Bible
There is a time and place for everything under the sun.
And the best time and place are the ones determined by
the Lord Jesus Himself.
Sometimes difficult to wait for in patience, but if we do
in faith, the result will always bless us in ways we could not
arrange ourselves.
For us here in Baan Zion, it is a time of great anticipation
knowing that this year will bring a major change in our
living circumstances. Being the moment we later this year
will buy and move to our new house(s).
A moment that now is coming close very fast.
Dear friends,
Time for an update about our Tenali slum project.
Feeding the children
Right now as many times as financially possible meals are shared. But looking at the enormous need we want to grow towards a structured daily meal sharing for as many children possible.
Dear friends,
Time for an update again about what is going on in Tenali and Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India, where I am staying for about two weeks now.
It has been 17 years since we, after many years of ministry here, were not allowed to re-enter India.

Dear friends,
I have moved from Tenali to the city of Bhimavaram where I have the opportunity to stay at the children’s home of Ps. Raj.
In my previous blog, I described the extreme poverty I am on a daily basis confronted with among the Dalit people that live in the slums. Here in this city, it is no different. I will blog about this extensively later.
Dear friends,
I am so happy and proud, that I from Tenali, India am able to place this first blog about what is going on here.
After many years the Lord has directed us back to the country where our ministry more than 20 years ago had started.
