Dear friends,
Since we next to our monthly news flash now are given the opportunity
to post on our blog, it is time to post something about Baan Zion.
As I write this, the girls in elementary school and High School have
a well earned summer holiday. No need to say that all of them enjoy this long 10 week period without their daily loads of home work. It now is chill out time in the house.
Since we cannot go out for activities every day and our girls want to do
something useful they like, that may also contribute to some extra
pocket money, they have started with special Hill Tribe embroidery.
And they for sure are very good in that.
They hope that making cellphone covers and bookmarks may be a
steppingstone towards more and larger items like bags and typical Hill Tribe vests, which they can sell and by doing so also can give some extra publicity for Baan Zion.
We also want to introduce our new manager to be. Her name is Kwan. She is a very positive spirit filled Christian, married and she has two kids.
Kwan is academically schooled and is the perfect person to act next to me in all the needed paperwork for the government and accompaniment of our girls.
