Update: Tenali and Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India

Dear friends,

Time for an update again about what is going on in Tenali and Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India, where I am staying for about two weeks now.

It has been 17 years since we, after many years of ministry here, were not allowed to re-enter India.

And being sent back by Jesus now, after He enabled and prepared everything needed according to His will and purpose, to the country that stayed in our hearts for all these years, is only to be described by one word: AWESOME!!!

The smells, the sounds, the people, the children and the slums…It feels as if I have never been away and absolutely coming home again.

The need among the Dalit children in the slums here in Tenali is beyond comprehension and we are lead by the Lord to start up a work for Him here among these children. We, for this, have made a cooperation agreement with Ps. Abraham, a really great and loving man of God, who from the little means he has, is doing all he can to reach out to these children. Ps. Abraham also has a children’s home where we would like to help in the existing needs.

Coming time, we will work out specifics and we will let you know as soon as we have everything set up.

But also in Bhimavaram, where I have the absolute privilege of staying in the children’s home of Ps. Raj, there is a need we would like to help with. Here for the children he as a loving father cares for, schooling costs of many High School and University students are not covered.

Both of these men are risking their lives in doing what Jesus has called them for in a country where persecution is extremely high and where I can only walk outside being accompanied by 4 young and strong men.

Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters and me while we seek His will.
